The Rough Rider compressor from Audio Damage is an incredibly popular plugin effect, with nearly a quarter million downloads. Now, with RoughRider3, they have expanded upon the success of the original RoughRider and RoughRider2 by introducing new features.
- External Sidechain Input: This feature is available in hosts that support it, such as AUM.
- Sidechain HPF Control: You can now remove the low end from the compression algorithm, both in the normal operation and when using external sidechain.
- Input and Output Level Controls: These controls make it easier to tune the levels to your desired settings.
- FULL BANDWIDTH Control: By enabling this option, you can achieve a cleaner sound by removing the warming features and high-end attenuation found in the original RoughRider.
In addition to these exciting new features, RoughRider3 also retains the beloved original RoughRider compression. Upon installation, you'll have access to both an AUv3 plugin and a standalone version with Inter-App Audio support.
